Hidden Horseshoes

Mesquite residents were invited to turn horseshoes into works of art in a project that was a partnership of the Mesquite Arts Center and Downtown Mesquite.

These horseshoes, symbolic of our status as the official Rodeo City of Texas, tell stories as unique as the people who painted them. Walk around Downtown Mesquite and find your favorites hidden throughout our district. We'll continue to add new horseshoes over time and invite you to come back often to see new installations throughout our district.
