Many events had to be re-imagined in 2020, and Downtown Mesquite's status as a Small Business Saturday designated neighborhood was no exception.
A welcome station wasn't in the cards due to distancing guidelines, so volunteers had the idea of working with videographers to create short Small Business Saturday videos featuring each participating business. Mesquite ISD provided a talented group of videography students to film and edit the videos that tell the story of each business and their plans for the special day.
